San Diego, CA -
Essential Knowledge, LLC an independent financial education
company headquartered in the Kansas City area has become a
Corporate Sponsor of the Institute of Consumer Financial
Education (ICFE), the award winning non-profit public education
organization based in San Diego, CA.
As an independent provider of financial education, Essential
Knowledge develops education that has no ties with - and no bias
toward - any financial services company or category, so the
material is impartial and practical. The ICFE's independent
approach to basic financial education is very much in line with
Essential Knowledge's model of offering independent,
product-free education about money and how people can
successfully manage it.
"We're excited to become a corporate sponsor of the ICFE, an
organization that has played an important role in financial
literacy education for the past 25 years," said Graham Moyer,
vice president of Essential Knowledge. "We envision many
opportunities for these two organizations to work together with
a common goal of helping people improve their financial lives."
Essential Knowledge specializes in developing innovative
financial literacy programs for working adults, teenagers and
young adults, as well as military personnel and their families.
These programs include online college credit classes,
certification programs, books, tools and group workshops.
The sponsorship will specifically involve Essential Knowledge
and the ICFE joining forces to promote FI 201M - Personal
Financial Management, a new online course created specifically
for members of the military community by Essential Knowledge and
offered for 3 undergraduate college credit hours by Park
University. Park is regionally accredited and the nation's
second largest online degree-granting program according to US
News and World Report.
