20 May 2012 - San Diego, CA. - The Institute of Consumer Financial Education (ICFE), an approved Continuing Education provider, and the American Center for Credit Education (Rapid City, S.D.), the leading publisher of financial education programs, announce that three new online Instructor Training courses are now available through the ICFE.

These online training courses are for individuals who want to become approved as completing this instructor's course for the ACCE programs Money in Motion (5 CEUs) and/or Money & Faith in Motion courses and (5 CEUs) or Make Your Move (A Guide to Home Ownership) (5 CEUs) courses.

Make Your Move (MYM) is comprehensive home-buying guide that trains applicants on how to teach and prepare their students or all aspects of the home-buying process. This course provides instructors with the information and skills needed to help their students gain confidence in handling the entire process of buying a home.

Money in Motion is a motivational program where instructors are trained how to prepare to help students gain the practical tools they need to manage money, make good financial decisions, and reach financial goals. Real-life stories demonstrate the benefits of wise money management. Money in Motion is easy to use and understand and is the ACCE's most popular program.

Money & Faith in Motion is from the ACCE and the Black Hills Biblical Institute in South Dakota. It is a practical, easy to understand guide to managing money, credit and debt. It follows biblical principles which can empower people to get their finances back on track. Scripture passages and hands-on activities will show how money and faith work together.

These three new online instructor training courses have been accepted for continuing education credits (CEUs) by the Association for Counseling and Planning Education. The online Instructor Training for the courses consists of the components listed below, with an emphasis on the instructor's vital roles as trainer and discussion leader.

The online programs all include:
1) Instructor's Guide (PDF)
2) PowerPoint (PDF) and
3) access to the selected online courses that include an exam/evaluation.

When the Instructor completes the Money in Motion (5 CEUs) and/or the Money & Faith in Motion (5 CEUs) and/or the Make Your Move (A Guide to Home Ownership) (5 CEUs) course, he/she will receive an ACCE Certificate of Completion. The ICFE will add the new approved instructor to the ICFE's International Directory of Certificants.

About the ICFE:

The Institute of Consumer Financial Education (ICFE) was founded in 1982 by the late Loren Dunton (creator of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation).  The ICFE is dedicated to helping consumers of all ages to improve their spending, increase savings and use credit more wisely.
The ICFE is an award winning, nonprofit, consumer education organization that has helped millions of people through its education programs and Resources. It publishes the Do-It-Yourself Credit File correction Guide, which is updated annually. The ICFE has distributed over one million Credit/Debit Card Warning Labels and Credit/Debit Card Sleeves world wide.

The ICFE became an official partner with the Department of Defense/Financial Readiness Campaign in June of 2004.The ICFE was an active partner in the California Student Debt Resource Awareness Project (CASDRAP) which resulted in a new web site: (studentdebthelp.org).  CASDRAP disbanded in 2010, shortly after the web site project was completed.  In 2011 the ICFE assumed the single sponsorship of the (studentdebthelp.org) web site and is now responsible for its content and operation.

The ICFE is also an on-line help for consumers who spend too much.  ICFE's spending help was featured in PARADE Magazine in the Intelligence Report section. The money helps and tips are from the ICFE's Money Instruction Book, our course in personal finance.

Visit the ICFE's other web sites at: www.financial-education-icfe.org and studentdebthelp.org.  Both sites helps consumers and students with mending spending, learning about the proper use of credit, budget and expense guidelines, how to set up and implement a spending-plan and also how to access financial education courses and how to teach children about money. Other ICFE services include: Ask Mr. G,  a free eNews, and an online resource center for students, parents and educators, plus financial education learning tools and a book store.
